A young Spanish royal has been accused of racially abusing a student at a theme park in a row over queue jumping.

　　Felipe Juan Froilán, the 16-year-old nephew of King Felipe, is said to have hurled the abuse at another pupil at the entrance to one of the rollercoasters at Parque de Atracciones in Madrid last week.

　　According to the Spanish newspaper El Economista, the teenager was told that he would have to wait his turn.

　　According to the Daily Telegraph, sources close to the royal have confirmed to the newspaper that an incident happened at the amusement park. But the source denied that the teenager had used any racist or insulting terms.

　　Froilán is the child of King Felipe VI’s eldest sister Elena de Borbón and Jaime de Marichalar. The pair divorced in 2010.

　　It is not the first time Froilán has hit the headlines. In 2014, he was kicked out of school for failing his exams for a second time, the Independent reports.
